HISTORY OF INDIAN CUISINE

Another example of various cuisines is the one influenced by religions. The people in India who follow Jainism have a very limited food palate. They do not include nonvegetarians in their diet and also do not eat onions or garlic. This is majorly influenced by their religious practices.
